Configuration

Configuration and programming of the OpenCom 100 is performed by the Configu-
rator, a special software application integrated into the system. The Configurator is
operated via the Web console, which can be run on any PC connected to the
OpenCom 100.

Using the Web console, you can:
• perform the initial configuration of the OpenCom 100,
• configure users of the OpenCom 100 and authorise them to use certain system
services,
• carry out further system maintenance,
• use PC-supported telephony functions,
• read out call charge information,
• access the OpenCom 100 telephone book.
The Web console has an integrated online help function that offers comprehensive
information on configuration and maintenance of the OpenCom 100 (see Loading the
Online Help starting on page 84).
