Spontaneous breathing

Set the lever (C) of the APL pressure control
valve to SPONT.
The pressure control valve is now open for free
spontaneous breathing, regardless of the set pres-
sure limit.

1 Press the Man.Spont. key (A); its LED and the
status line flash.
2 Confirm via rotary knob (B).

Man.Spont.
Certain alarms are disabled automatically in the
ventilation mode Man.Spont. in order to avoid arti-
facts.
