UL and cUL Standards

The 1S-series Servo Drives/Servomotors Advance Type conform to the following standards.

EQUIPMENT AND SHALL BE RATED 277 V (PHASE TO GROUND), SUITABLE FOR OVERVOLTAGE
CATEGORY III, AND SHALL PROVIDE PROTECTION FOR A RATED IMPULSE WITHSTAND VOLTAGE
PEAK OF 6 KV
The Servo Drives and Servomotors comply with UL 61800-5-1 as long as the following installation con-
ditions (a) and (b) are met.
(a) Use the Servo Drive in pollution degree 2 or 1 environment as specified in IEC 60664-1.
Example: Installation inside a control panel.
(b) Be sure to connect a fuse, which is a UL-listed product with LISTED, between the power supply and
noise filter.
Select the fuse from the following table as well as an equivalent, or the fuse that belongs to the fol-
lowing class: CC, CF, GF, G, J, R or T.
Use copper wiring with a temperature rating of 75°C or higher.
