5. Add coolant until system is full up to
the pressure cap seat.
6. Start engine.
NOTE: Do not install pressure cap.
7. Run engine at idle until coolant fan
turns ON.
NOTE: Monitor coolant level during
engine warm-up and add coolant as re-
quired.
8. Depress the throttle lever two or
three times; check coolant level.
9. Stop the engine and let it cool down.
10. Inspect cooling system for leaks.
11. Check coolant level in the reser-
voir. Add coolant as required.
12. Install pressure cap.
13. Reinstall the console. Refer to
GINE COOLANT LEVEL VERIFI-
CATION
.

Muffler Spark Arrester Cleaning and
Inspection
NOTE: Spark arrester screen replace-
ment is required only when damaged.
CAUTION Let exhaust system
cool down before proceeding with
cleaning and inspection.
Remove and discard the tail pipe retain-
ing screws.

card) and spark arrester.

Remove carbon deposits from the
spark arrester using a brush.
NOTICE

rester mesh.
