• If you wish to abandon the route that you are building, press CANCEL. You are
asked to confirm your request to delete the route.
3. Continue entering waypoints until your route is complete.
4. You now have the following options:
i. To save and immediately follow the route:
Press FOLLOW (QUICK) ROUTE. The route is saved under the name 'Quick
Route' . If a Quick Route already exists it is overwritten. The system then ini-
tiates a follow route.
Or:
ii. To save the route for later use (and rename it if required):
Press SAVE ROUTE or OK. The Save Route dialog box is displayed. You can
edit the route name or color or press OK to accept the defaults..

Building routes using the waypoint list
:
BUILD NEW
ROUTE
You may prefer to build routes using existing waypoints in the waypoint list:
1. From the BUILD NEW ROUTE option, press USE WAYPOINT LIST. The Make Route
list is displayed
2. Highlight the required waypoint in the Waypoint column, by using the trackpad
(up/down) or the rotary control.
3. Use the trackpad (right) to move control to the New Route column.
4. In the New Route column, use the trackpad (up/down) to highlight the route way-
point that is to immediately precede the waypoint that you are inserting.
5. Return to the waypoint column.
6. Press INSERT WAYPOINT.
• The waypoint highlighted in the waypoint column is added to the new route
column below the highlighted route waypoint.
• If you insert a waypoint incorrectly into a route you are building, you can
remove it by highlighting the necessary waypoint in the New Route column and
then pressing the REMOVE WAYPOINT key. The remaining waypoints close up
to fill the gap.
7. Continue entering waypoints until your route is complete.
8. You now have the following options:
i. To save and immediately follow the built route, press
FOLLOW (QUICK) ROUTE.
