Chapter 3: Working with Waypoints

SYM GROUP

Display by symbol or group

You can determine which waypoint groups or symbol types are shown using the
SHOW BY soft key. This is used in conjunction with the ON CHART soft key when the
chartplotter is active or the ON RADAR soft key when radar is active.
Show by Group and Show by Symbol
A list of available groups or symbols are shown with their show/hide status.

To change the status of a group or symbol:
1. Use the trackpad to highlight to the appropriate group or symbol.
2. Press the ON CHART or ON RADAR soft key to change the show/hide status.
3. Press OK or CANCEL to remove the dialog box.

Display waypoint names

Press the WAYPOINT NAME soft key to show or hide all waypoint names. The selected
value is highlighted in the soft key display.

If a waypoint is placed but its group is set to Hide, then the waypoint will
not be displayed.
Waypoints in an active route are always displayed, regardless of whether
the display is set to show or hide.
