2.9 Changing Settings

2.9.1 MCU Power Supply Source Selection Jumper/MCU Power Supply Voltage Selection Jumper

These are the jumper switches to select power supply to the MCU and its power voltage. Set the jumpers according to the use
conditions before turning on power, referring to "2.6.1 MCU Power Supply Source Selection Jumper/MCU Power Supply
Voltage Selection Jumper" (page 25).

2.9.2 Setting the Jumpers on the R0E436640EPBM0 Board

Figure 2.14 shows the location of jumper switches on the R0E436640EPBM0 board and their factory-settings.

Note on Setting Jumper Switches:
Always shut OFF the emulator before changing the setting of the jumper switches, and connecting the cable.
Otherwise the internal circuit may cause a break.

How to set

- Connects the Vcc pin of the evaluation MCU to the internal power

supply (same voltage as Vcc on the MCU) of the emulator.
- Use this setting for ordinary debug
(Factory-setting)
- Connects the Vcc pin of the evaluation chip to the user system.
