Mounting the cutting unit

Fitting the gearwheel (C)
1. Lift the cutting blade axle (25) up through the
hole, and place the 25 mm long feather key in its
chamfered keyway.
2. Align the gearwheel (C) so that the feather key
fits in its chamfered keyway inside the
gearwheel.
3. Push the blade axle up as far as possible, and fit
the locknut (24) and washer.
Fitting the gearwheel (A) and (B), and their
respective ball bearings
1. To fit the ball bearings:
A. Fit the ball bearing with the aid of a press.
B. Fit the internal retainer ring (22).
2. Place gearwheel (A) and (B) in their respective
positions.
3. Secure the gearwheels with the screw (21),
plane washer and lock washer.
Fitting the gearwheel (D) and the gear-toothed belt
1. Fit the gear-toothed belt on the gearwheels (A), (B)
and (C).
2. Fit the stop pin (15).
