Headlights

See fig. 8.
Current is supplied from the ignition switch S9 via
fuse F1 to the lights switch S3. The lights switch
makes the circuit to the headlights 4, which are
earthed to the chassis.

Stabilizing the clutch 5

To prevent the clutch 5 from engaging and
disengaging quickly in step with fast switching of
microswitch S5, the relay K1 is fitted with a
capacitor C1. The capacitor is connected in parallel
with the operating coil of the relay and it briefly holds
the relay energized after the operating current has
been switched off.
Generator G
The generator is a single-phase, self-regulating AC
generator. The current is rectified by a diode and is
fed via the battery to the ignition switch S9.
Bold dotted line = Path of the current when ignition
is switched on.
Bold line = Path of the current to the lamps.
