Fitting the belt pulley

The plastic cover is to be put on the cutting unit
before fitting the belt pulley and the idler pulley.
1. Align the belt pulley (11) on the cutting blade
axle so that the feather key fits into its
chamfered keyway in the pulley.
2. Fit the locknut (10) and washer.

Fitting the idler pulley

1. Fit the belt bracket (7) and spacer ring (6) on the
idler bracket (8).
2. Fit the idler pulley and secure it with the nut (4),
washer and lock washer.
3. The belt bracket (7) is to be at an angle of 150°–
160° in relation to the idler bracket (8).
CAUTION
The spring bracket (3) must be able to
rotate freely.
4. Fit the spring bracket and nut (2).
5. Lock the nut (2) securely with nut (1).
6. Fit the idler bracket with the screw (9) and
washer to the cutting unit.
