Changing the lifting/lowering wire

Dismantling
1. Remove the six screws (1).
CAUTION
When removing the rear plate, make
certain that cables to the microswitch (3)
are disconnected before lifting away the
plate.
2. Remove the eight screws (2).
3. Disconnect the cable terminals of microswitch
(3) before lifting off the plate and placing the
grass discharge chute against the clutch or the
cooling fan.
4. Remove the wire (5), with nut (6), from the
segment wire-guide (4).
5. Remove the split-pin (8), and take off the wire
(5) from the wire holder (7).
Mounting
1. Fit the wire (5), with nut (6), on the segment
wire-guide (4).
2. Fit the lower part of the wire in the wire holder
(7), and the split-pin (8).
Adjustment
1. Position the tractor on a flat surface and check
the tyre pressure.
Front tyre pressure: 100 kPa (1 bar)
Rear tyre pressure: 70 kPa (0.7 bar)
2. Raise the cutting unit to its highest cutting
position.
3. Adjust with the nut (9) so that the bottom part of
the cutting unit is 8 cm above the ground.
