E. Headlights switch
The headlights switch is located on the instrument
panel.
Trouble shooting the headlights switch
Measure the resistance between the two pins with
an ohmmeter. The resistance may not exceed 0.5
when the headlights switch is in the ON mode. The
headlights switch must be replaced if the resistance
is more than 1000 .
Dismantling
1. Fold the engine hood forward.
2. Mark the cables with tape to simplify
identification when refitting.
3. Disconnect the cables.
4. Press together both flanges (3) on the top and
on the bottom of the switch, and push it out at
the front of the instrument panel.
Mounting
1. Push in the switch at the front of the instrument
panel, and make certain that it is securely fitted.
2. Connect the marked cables to the switch.
3. Lower the engine hood back into place.
