5. Remove the clutch lever (2) from the disc
assembly over the rear axle gear. (See below)
A. Hold the screw (3) with a screwdriver.
B. Remove the nuts (4) and (5).
CAUTION
Ensure that the lever (2) of the clutch, ball
holder surface (6) and balls (7), are
protected against dirt.
C. Lift off the lever (2). Making certain that the
balls remain in position, and protect the
surfaces from dirt.
6. Move the ball holder (6) upwards to remove it.
7. Remove the transmission drive belt from the belt
pulley.
Mounting
1. Fit the transmission drive belt on the belt
pulleys.
2. Stretch the transmission drive belt by pressing in
the idler pulley (1) and tighten while stretched.
3. Fit the electric clutch. (See page 62)
4. Fit the clutch lever as follows.
CAUTION
If the surface of ball holder and the balls
have become soiled, they must be cleaned
and then lubricated with grease.
A. Fit the ball holder (6) and the three balls (7).
B. Fit the clutch wire to the clutch lever (2).
C. Fit the clutch lever and nut (5), and locknut
(4), while holding the screw (3) with a
screwdriver.
5. Adjust the clutch. (See page 71)
