C. Reset switch
The reset switch is located on the instrument panel.
Trouble shooting the reset switch
Measure the resistance between the two pins with
an ohmmeter. The resistance may not exceed 0.5
when the reset switch is pressed in. The reset
switch must be replaced if the resistance is infinite.
Dismantling
1. Fold the engine hood forward.
2. Mark the cables with tape to simplify
identification when refitting.
3. Disconnect the cables.
4. Press together both flanges (3) on the top and
on the bottom of the reset switch, and push it
out at the front of the instrument panel.
Mounting
1. Push in the reset switch at the front of the
instrument panel, and make certain that it is
securely fitted.
2. Connect the marked cables to the reset switch.
3. Lower the engine hood back into place.
