Changing the link axle, and upper and
lower levers
Dismantling
1. Remove the rear plate. (See page 72)
2. Block up the tractor. (See page 3)
3. Remove the retainer ring and washer, and take off the
rear right wheel.
4. Remove the elbow joint (8) from the upper lever (9).
5. Remove the elbow joint (4) from the lower lever (3).
6. Remove the spring cotter (2) from the lower lever (3).
7. Remove the retainer ring (6) from the link axle (5),
and move the link axle out to the right.
Mounting
1. Clean and grease the left bearing (1) and right
bearing (7).
2. Insert the link axle through the right bearing (7), and
fit the lower lever (3) with the cotter (2).
3. Insert the link axle (5) further through the left bearing
(1), and secure the link axle with the retainer ring (6).
4. Fit the elbow joint (4) of the lower link to the lower
lever (3).
5. Fit the elbow joint (8) of the upper link to the upper
lever (9).
6. Put on the rear right wheel, with the retainer ring and
washer.
7. Check the settings. (See page 78-79)
8. Fit the rear plate. (See page 79)
