Microswitch underneath the clutch
pedal
The microswitch is located underneath the tank to
the left of the steering column.
Trouble shooting the microswitch for the clutch
pedal
The pins that are to make contact with each other in
the respective modes are marked with a cross (X).
Measure the resistance between the pins with an
ohmmeter. The resistance may not exceed 0.5 .
The microswitch must be replaced if the resistance
is more than 1000 .
Dismantling
1. Fold the engine hood forward and remove the
fuel tank.
2. Mark the cables with tape to simplify
identification when refitting.
3. Disconnect the cables.
4. Remove the nut (3) and take out the
microswitch.
Mounting
1. Fit the microswitch and nut (3).
2. Connect the marked cables.
3. Fit the fuel tank and lower the engine hood
forward.
