Recommended Configurations

Conference Room

Install and configure the UC360 following the guidelines in the UC360 Engineering Guide-
lines. See the sections Initial Setup and Conference Rooms and Office
Recommendations.
Place the Revolabs Extension Microphones as recommended in the Revolabs HD Dual
Channel System Microphone Installation Guide.
Configure the extension microphone settings on the UC360. See "Extension Microphone
Settings" on page 31.

Teleworker Home Office

To use the UC360 in a Teleworker home office, refer to the following information:
See the section "UC360 Used as Teleworker" on page 56 in this guide.
See the section Teleworker and Mitel Border Gateway Deployments in the UC360
Engineering Guidelines as well Bandwidth Requirements and MBG configuration.

Executive Office Side Table

Ensure that the UC360 is set up in office mode by programming a personal ring group on the
MCD. Also, program a hand-off key on the user's desk phone so that they can hand off calls
answered on their desk phone over to the UC360.
Configuring the MCD
1. Open ESM on the MCD.
2. Click on the Users and Services Configuration Menu.
3. Click on the Group Programming Menu.
4. Click open the Personal Ring Group form.
5. Click Add.
6. Under Personal Ring Group field, enter the DN of the Desk phone to be in the ring group.
7. Click Save.
8. To add a UC360 to the ring group, select the Personal Ring Group you previously created.
