Current-carrying capacity and derating factors for power cables and signal
cables
The current-carrying capacity of PVC/PUR-insulated copper cables is specified for laying
methods B1, B2 and C under continuous operating conditions in the table with reference to
an ambient air temperature of 40° C. For other ambient temperatures, the values must be
corrected by the factors listed in the "Derating factors for deviating conditions" table.
