Required materials

Chemical-resistant, powder-free gloves
•
Needle-nose pliers
To remove the APCI probe and APPI lamp drive assembly from the
instrument
1.
On the MassLynx Tune window, click Press for Standby, and confirm
that the instrument status indicator is red.
2.
Wait for three minutes for the desolvation gas to cool the probe.
3.
Click
4.
Remove the APCI probe from the source.
