IM-A-1048H 4-4. CALIBRATION FUNCTION There are 3 calibration functions appropriate for the required purpose, that is, "Actual load calibration" that calibrates data by applying already known load to transducers, "Sensitivity registering calibration" that calibrates data by registering a sensitivity value written in the transducer inspection report, and "Numeric value registering calibration"...
  • Page 23 IM-A-1048H 4-4-2. Sensitivity registering calibration The sensitivity registering calibration calibrates data by registering a rated output of a transducer without applying the actual load. • Page 24 IM-A-1048H 4-4-3. Numeric value registering calibration The numeric value registering calibration calibrates data by changing the initial value. Execute the numeric value registering calibration after the actual load calibration or sensitivity registering calibration. The numeric value registering calibration is used for pressure transducers for absolute pressure measurement or when already load is applied and unable to obtain the actual load state.
  • Page 25 IM-A-1048H 4-5. COMPARATOR FUNCTIONS The COMPARATOR function compares the indicated value with the [HH]/[HI]/[LO]/[LL] limit value and outputs the results. The COMPARATOR function outputs the result as the open collector output from the [OUTPUT] terminals of the rear panel. The results are displayed on the [HH]/[HI]/[OK]/[LO]/[LL] LED. You are able to prevent the comparator output chattering or malfunctions by setting the hysteresis (dead band).
