4-4. CALIBRATION FUNCTION

There are 3 calibration functions appropriate for the required purpose, that is, "Actual load calibration" that
calibrates data by applying already known load to transducers, "Sensitivity registering calibration" that
calibrates data by registering a sensitivity value written in the transducer inspection report, and "Numeric value
registering calibration" that calibrates data by changing the initial values.
4-4-1. Actual load calibration
The actual load calibration calibrates data by applying the actual load (already known load such as weight) to a
transducer.
Suppose a load cell is "rated capacity: 1 kN" and "rated output: 2.004mV/V". This section describes how to
display "100.0" by applying 100 kg.
a) To execute the DIGITAL ZERO function
Confirm the transducer is no load applied. Press the ZERO key to execute the DIGITAL ZERO function.
The "0" is displayed. Be sure to execute the DIGITAL ZERO function to register the reference point.
b) To load the actual load
Apply the actual load to the transducer.
<Example> Gently apply the 100-kg load.
c) To go to ACTUAL LOAD CALIBRATION mode
Press the FUNCTION key for 2 seconds. The "F-01" is displayed and the mode is FUNCTION
SELECTING mode.

d) To set the indicated value
The current indicated value (Rated capacity) is displayed and the highest-order digit flickers.

The current decimal point position flickers.

f) To set the key code
The "F00000" appears.
1) To enable the key code
Make sure the "00628" or "11111" appears. Press the SET key.
2) To disable the key code
Press the SET key.
g) To exit the calibration
The "F-02" is displayed. Press the CANCEL key.
Remove the load. The WGA-680A starts measuring data based on the registered calibration value.
