4-4-2. Sensitivity registering calibration
The sensitivity registering calibration calibrates data by registering a rated output of a transducer without
applying the actual load.
Suppose a load cell is "rated capacity: 1 kN" and "rated output: 2.004 mV/V." This section describes how to
display "1.000" by applying 1 kN.
a) To execute the DIGITAL ZERO function
Confirm the transducer is no load applied. Press the ZERO key to execute the DIGITAL ZERO function.
The "0" is displayed. Be sure to execute the DIGITAL ZERO function to register the reference point.
b) To go to SENSITIVITY REGISTERING CALIBRATION mode
Press the FUNCTION key for 2 seconds. The "F-01" is displayed and the mode is FUNCTION
SELECTING mode.
Press the key until the "F-03" is displayed. Press the SET key.
The WGA-680A is SENSITIVITY REGISTERING CALIBRATION SETTING mode.
c) To set the rated output of transducers
The current rated output is displayed and the highest-order digit flickers.
Press the

d) To set the indicated value
The current indicated value (Rated capacity) is displayed and the highest-order digit flickers.
Press the
<Example> Set the indicated value [1000]. Press the SET key.
e) To set the decimal point position
The current decimal point position flickers.
Press the key to move the decimal point position.
<Example> Set the indicated value [1.000]. Press the SET key.
f) To set the key code
The "F00000" appears.
1) To enable the key code
Make sure the "00628" or "11111" appears. Press the SET key.
2) To disable the key code
Press the SET key.
g) To exit the calibration
The "F-03" is displayed. Press the CANCEL key.
The WGA-680A starts measuring data based on the registered calibration value.
MEMO
Suppose you measure weights with a load cell. Since the rated capacity of transducers is Newton [N],
you are required to convert the value into weight unit [kg].
