5.1 Troubleshooting

Cause(s)
Air stream velocity is too great.
Cause(s)
Turning too sharply with boots in the ground.
The ground openers have been left in the ground
when the machine is backed up.
Cause(s)
The shaft seal failed on the hydraulic motor.
Cause(s)
The monitor set to the wrong blower speed setting.
The tractor is not putting out sufficient oil.
The hydraulic couplers are bad.
Cause(s)
The plenum is plugged.
The plenum is leaking
The final run is plugged.
Cause(s)
The fan speeds are too low.
The venturi is blocked.
The seed boot is blocked.

Too much seed cracking.
Decrease the blower speed.
The seed boots are plugging.
Always lift ground opener before turning.
There is oil on the seed lines.
Replace the seal. Do not disassemble hydraulic
motor. The shaft seal is an external replacement.

See the information for the terminal.
Have the tractor dealer inspect the tractor
hydraulics.
Check the couplers on the tractor and the hoses.
Try different couplers.
Seeding is uneven.
Clean out the plenum.
Adjust the plenum bulkheads and cylinder.
Seal the plenum access covers.
Clear the obstruction.
The final runs are plugged.
Increase the fan speed.
Clear the blockage.
