Starting the Melter for the First Time

About the Touch Screen Display and User Interface

documentation.
The touch screen display replaces the membrane control panel used on
previous Nordson melters. With a touch of your finger on the display screen,
you can navigate the graphical user interface to setup, operate and maintain
this melter.
The "Configuration Setup" wizard starts when you start the melter for the first
time. When prompted, enter the following information:

Language Preference
S
Date, time and temperature format
S
Current date and time
NOTE: If the Configuration Wizard does not appear, then the above settings
were already configured for you.
NOTE: You can modify these settings at a later time.
What's Next?
The melter is shipped from the factory with most temperature, pump and
melter (system) settings preconfigured and ready to use. However, there are
some settings that you must configure and finetune to best fit your
manufacturing process.
