  • Page 22 WARNING: Risk of fire or explosion! Nordson adhesive equipment is not rated for use in explosive environments and should not be used with solvent-based adhesives that can create an explosive HM, CA, PC atmosphere when processed.
  • Page 23 CAUTION: Nordson hot melt equipment is factory tested with Nordson Type R fluid that contains polyester adipate plasticizer. Certain hot melt materials can react with Type R fluid and form a solid gum that can clog the equipment.

    1. Ensure that inert gas is connected. CAUTION: Do not operate Nordson gear pumps without material. Before switching on the motor, ensure that the tank is filled. 2. Fill the tank (Refer to Filling the Tank).

    Important when Using Cleaning Agents Never used halogenated hydrocarbon solutions to clean components made of aluminum or to purge Nordson equipment.
