7.3.3 Connecting devices to the Loop
Il loop wiring can be completed with 2 wires (open loop) or 4 wires (closed loop) using 2 pole STP.

If you are using a 4 wire connection, connect the STP cable shield to one end of the loop and leave the
other end disconnected.
