7.3 Loop signal

Note: Refer to the Operator's manual for more
information about how to rectify errors.
72 - Troubleshooting
Cause
Low battery capacity.
The PARK mode is activated.
Schedule settings are preventing the
product from leaving the charging station.
The product never becomes fully charg-
ed.
The power supply is faulty.
Cause
The application board is faulty.
Faulty keypad.
The application circuit board is blocked.

The application circuit board is blocked.
The product is in the charging station.
Action
Perform a
battery's capacity. Refer to
service tool on page 9 .
Press down the START button and select
Main area or Secondary area.
Check the Schedule settings. Also check
that the clock shows the current time.
Check that the product is receiving the
charging power. Check that the value for
the current corresponds with the guide-
line values. If the charging or contact
plates appear to be burnt or coated,
clean them using a fine grade emery
cloth. Check that the charging plates on
the product and the contact plates on the
charging station are correctly connected,
and that they are not damaged.
If the problems remain, try the following:
• Replace the contact plates on the
charging station.
• Replace the circuit board in the
charging station.
• Replace the charging plates on the
product.
Check that the product is receiving the
charging power. Check that the value for
the current corresponds with the guide-
line value in
tor's manual.
Action
Reprogram the application board using
Autocheck. Refer to
application board on page 10 .
Replace the keypad. Refer to
the jog wheel on page 22 .
Program the product using Autocheck.
Program the product using Autocheck.
Remove the product from the charging
station and switch it off.
7.3.1 To measure the loop signal strength
When measuring loop signal strength the product should
be placed in the charging station. The test provides a
quick answer to if the charging station generates all
signals and if the product can detect these signals.
