18.2. Regular checks and maintenance of the complete system

To ensure the stability and security of DLT-V4108 system at the respective application site:
−
Regularly check whether DLT-V4108 is firmly seated in the associated holder (e.g. RAM
mount) and the mounting screws are not loose.

Also check whether the holder is secured stably to the respective application site.
This is particularly important if DLT-V4108 is installed on any vehicle.

Check whether all connected cables are secured and the cable cover shuts tightly.
Risk of accident due to unstable attachment of DLT-V4108.
If the attachment of DLT-V4108 becomes loose and breaks during moving, this can lead to
severe accidents.

Perform checks for the attachment as described above at regular intervals.
