Safety notes for normal operation, control

Personal injury, physical damage and downtimes due to improper operation.
Operators of the DLT-V4108 must be trained in the handling of the device.
Risk of accident! Personal injury and physical damage caused by using the terminal and
driving at the same time.
Do not operate the DLT-V4108 terminal while driving.
Risk of injury and physical damage due to improper deployment location (refueling
stations, etc.)
Observe the intended use of the DLT-V4108, e.g. not in potentially explosive areas, not in
life-supporting facilities.
Turn off the DLT-V4108 when you are near gas stations, fuel depots, chemical plants or
places where blasting operations take place.
Ensure that the deployment location of the DLT-V4108 complies with the permissible
environmental conditions.
Observe the specific IP protection class.
NOTICE: Physical damage
Overvoltage on the DLT-V4108 when charging the vehicle battery.
While the vehicle battery is charging:
− The DLT-V4108 must be disconnected from the vehicle battery.
− Or it must be ensured that the maximum permitted input voltage of the DLT-V4108 is not
exceeded.
