Select the input source for the Mains channels of the Matrix

mixer and the PQ mixer. Choices include pre-fader or
post-fader.
The Group, Aux and Main configurations are applied globally
to all 8 Matrix mixers or PQ mixers.
User Input
The last channel of the Matrix and PQ mixers can receive sig-
nal from any Input Channel, FX Return, or hardware input.
This User Input can be set individually for each Matrix mixer
and PQ mixer, allowing for a variety of custom feeds and cue
mixes.
To configure the User input for a Matrix or PQ mixer:
Press the Assign switch (located under the User Send en-

coder) to go to the Outputs page.
Select a Matrix channel or PQ channel to display the mixer

you want to configure.
Click the on-screen Source pop-up menu and choose an in-

put source.
Choosing an Input Source for the User Input
If the Input Source is an Input Channel or an FX Return,

choose a pickoff point for the input from the Pickoff pop-up
menu.
Choices include Top of Channel, Insert Return, and
Pre/Post-Fader (for Input Channels) or Top of FX Return and
Pre/Post-Fader (for FX Returns). The Input Channel Fader
Pickoff setting determines globally whether the fader pickoff
points are pre- or post-fader.

Matrix and PQ Mixer Input Levels
The levels for the first 8 input sources (or "sends") of a Matrix
or PQ mixer are controlled by the Assignable Output Encod-
ers. The levels for the Mains inputs of a Matrix or PQ mixer are
controlled by the encoders marked Left Send, Center Send, and
Right Send. The level for the user-selected input is controlled
by the encoder marked User Send.
To control mixer input source ("send") levels:
Press the Matrix Sends switch or the PQ Sends switch in the

Output Encoder assignment section.

Press any of the numbered Send switches (1–8) to assign the

corresponding Matrix mixer or PQ mixer to the Assignable
Output Encoders and mixer Send encoders.
For each of the mixer input sources you want to activate,

press the encoder knob so that its "On" indicator LED lights.
Turn the rotary encoder knobs 1–8 and the Left Send, Center

Send, Right Send, and User Send encoders to set the level for
the corresponding mixer input.
