EQ
The EQ section provides dedicated controls for all built-in and
compatible plug-in EQ parameters including band in/out, fre-
quency, Q, and mode.
See Chapter 17, "EQ."
Channel Config
The Channel Config controls include the Input Direct and
Dyn Pre EQ switches.
Input Direct Bypasses the built-in Dynamics and EQ process-
ing, and all inserts on the currently targeted Input Channel or
FX Return. The switch flashes to indicate Input Direct is ac-
tive.
Dyn Pre EQ Enable Dyn Pre EQ to route audio on the currently
targeted Input Channel to built-in Dynamics first, then to
built-in EQ. The switch lights to indicate Dynamics precedes
EQ in the signal path.
Config/Show Mode
This switch toggles D-Show between these two operational
modes.
See Chapter 6, "Options."
Insert Processing
The Insert Processing section provides controls to bypass and
adjust plug-ins on the currently selected channel, as well as to
bypass hardware inserts.
Dynamics
The Dynamics section provides dedicated controls for built-in
and plug-in dynamics processors, including a comprehensive
set of Compressor/Limiter and Expander/Gate controls.
See Chapter 16, "Dynamics."
Direct Output
The Direct Output section provides level and in/out control
for the channel direct output.
Solo and Mute
These switches provide channel Solo and Mute for the cur-
rently selected channel.
Channel Scroll
The Channel Scroll switches let you target other channels to
bring them to the ACS (as an alternative to pressing channel
Select switches). Press "+" to select the next channel. Press "–"
to select the previous channel. Holding down either Channel
Scroll switch scrolls continuously until the switch is released.
Options and Snapshots
The Options and Snapshots section, directly above the View
Mode switches, provides access to the snapshots list.
Selected Channel Fader
The Selected Channel Fader is a 100mm, touch-sensitive fader
that duplicates the fader for the selected channel.

Assignable Output Encoders

This section includes the eight Assignable Output Encoders
and their corresponding function switches.

Assignable Output Encoder section
The switches to the right of the output encoders determine
the function of the Output section Encoder row and its con-
trols. When a function is selected, the Output Encoder section
provides level control (using the encoders), solo, mute, and se-
lect switches for that output type.
Output Encoder Function Switches
Aux 1–8 Assigns the Output Encoder section to Auxes 1–8.
Aux 9–16 Assigns the Output Encoders section to Auxes 9–16.
Groups Assigns the Output Encoders section to Groups.
When D-Show is in Variable Groups mode, this switch assigns
the Output Encoders section to control Variable Groups.
Group Pan Assigns the Output Encoders to (stereo) Group pan.
Display Shows the currently assigned function of the Output
Encoder section.
Matrix and PQ Sends
The switches in the Matrix and PQ Sends section assign the
Output Encoders to the following functions:
