Monitoring
This section provides level and delay controls for near-field
monitors and headphones. Separate level controls are pro-
vided for the monitor and headphone outputs. The Delay
switch lets you set an amount of delay to be applied to both,
to time-align their output at the front of house position.
Mute Groups
Mute Groups let you quickly mute multiple channels at the
same time. You can create and recall up to eight Mute Groups
comprising one or more channels.
See Chapter 15, "Muting and Mute Groups."
Mains Controls and Fader
This fader and its function switches let you control the Main
bus levels (L–R+M, or L–C–R).
The function switches directly above the Mains Fader let you
Talkback/Osc
select which Main output bus the Main Fader controls. This
lets you assign the Mains Fader to all the Main busses (L–R+M,
or L–C–R) simultaneously, or to individual Main busses to
trim and balance Main bus output levels.
On-screen, three discrete faders are provided for L, R, and
C/M. By default, the on-screen L and R faders are linked for
stereo level adjustment; drag the C/M fader to adjust its
Function
level. On the control surface, all three Mains channels are
enabled at the Mains Fader (L, R, and C/M).

Talkback/Osc
The controls in this section provide comprehensive and flexi-
ble communication control, including a top-mounted Talk-
back input (XLR), Assign switches, and level control.
Solo/PFL
Function Switches
This section provides four Main Function switches (F1, F2, F3,
and F4) and the Cancel switch.
F1 Serves as a clutch to be able to trim one side of a stereo
linked Aux without affecting the other side.
F2 When D-Show is in Variable Groups mode, the F2 switch is
used to toggle display of Variable Group controls in the Input
Encoder rows and the ACS.
The remaining Function switches are reserved for future use.
Cancel Cancels the current operation, such as Multi-Select or
Multi-Assign modes, or channel solo.
Solo/PFL
This section provides control over the primary Solo features,
including Solo Level and mode selection. Numerous options
are provided to customize D-Show Solo operation in the Op-
tions screen.
See Chapter 14, "Solo and Monitor Busses."
