Channel Expander/Gate meter
The Expander/Gate meter works differently depending on
which mode the strip is in. The meter is in Gate mode when
the ratio is set to its maximum setting (100:1).
Gate When the Gate function is selected, the 3 LEDs on the
Expander/Gate meter show the following:
Gate status
LED Status
1 (right) Gate open
2 Gate in hold
3 (left) Gate closed
Expander When the Expander function is selected, the 3 LEDs
on the Expander/Gate meter show gain reduction levels from
right to left, according to the following scale:

(none) 0 dB
1 (right) 3 dB
2 20 dB
3 (left) > 20 dB
Bank Clip Indicators
The Bank Clip LED at the top of Input Channel and FX Return
channel strip lights when clipping occurs on a hidden fader
bank. The channel position of the Bank Clip indication corre-
sponds to the position of the off-bank channel. The Bank Clip
LED flashes to indicate momentary clips, and lights solid for
sustained clipping.
To locate the clipped channel:
Press the Channel Bank switches until the Channel Input
Level meters show clipping.

Stereo LED
The Stereo LED on Channel Input Level meters lights to indi-
cate stereo channels. A flashing Stereo LED indicates there is
an offset in level between left and right signals of 12 dB or
more.

ACS Section Dynamics Meters

The three dynamics gain reduction meters in the ACS section
show gain reduction for the built-in Compressor/Limiter, the
built-in Expander/Gate, and any applicable Dynamics plug-in
on the selected channel.

On each meter, the 10 LEDs show dynamics gain reduction
from right to left, according to the following scale:
