2.3 Communication Interface
A signal transmitter is provided for the communication signal conversion between the external serial
port (COM port) of the PC and the flowmeter.
When using RS485 communication, the RS485 communication interface available on the market shall
be used.
When using Bell202 communication, the Bell202 communication interface for OVAL Smart
Communication Unit EL2310 shall be used. The signal transmitter consists of the components shown in
Fig. 3.
