3.7.3 Analog Output Adjustment (Trim Analog)

This adjusts the output value of the flowmeter transmitter's analog output.
This function is for adjusting the values by outputting analog values equivalent to 4mA and 20mA
regardless of the processing state. If the flowmeter's output is used to control valves or other such
parts as safety protocol, change the control loop to manual control so that the control loop cannot be
influenced by the flowmeter's output.
① Click "Diag/Service (T)" from the menu, and select "Trim Analog", then the following window
(Fig. 98) will be displayed.
② Select the scale from "4mA - 20mA" or "Other scale" and click "OK".
When "4mA - 20mA" is used for adjustment, a standard ammeter is inserted into the analog output
loop, and adjustment follows the method described in steps ③ to ⑥.
When "Other scale" is used, load resistance is inserted into the analog output loop, and adjustment
follows the method described in steps ⑦ to ⑪ (this description covers the situation where
RL= 250Ω will be inserted, with adjustment to both ends of the voltage value scale of 1 to 5V).
③ A message box (Fig. 99) is displayed. Click "OK" to execute analog output at 4mA.
