Disconnect CONNECTOR J29.

Install a JUMPER into CONNECTOR J29 to disable the COVER INTERLOCK SWITCH.
To allow a correct reading, prevent the SWITCH from actuating during the adjustment.

Loosen the 2 SCREWS and move the DRIVE SIDE SWITCH PLATE ASSEMBLY up to the maximum
position.

Hold the NON-DRIVE SIDE MAGNET SWING ARM to prevent movement. If necessary, install a
RESTRAINER.
