Issue 06 (2019-08-10)
MM910. With SOL, you can manage compute nodes and switch modules through the
serial ports on a client.
Unified upgrade
The MM910 supports the upgrade of itself and the other chassis components.
NOTE
Power supply unit (PSU) cannot be upgraded.
Configuration restoration
After replacing a switch module, you can restore the configurations of the original switch
module to the new switch module in the same slot by using the MM910.
When the new switch module is starting, it downloads the configuration file of the
original switch module from the MM910 and loads the file. If the MM910 has no
configuration file, the new switch module loads its default configuration file.
Offline configuration
You can store the switch module configuration file to the MM910. When a switch
module is starting, it automatically downloads the configuration file from the MM910
and then loads the file, so that you do not need to manually configure the switch module.
Chassis power capping
The chassis power cap value can be set to limit the total chassis power consumption.
Multiple management interfaces for system integration
The iBMC provides IPMI, command-line interface (CLI), Data Center Manageability
Interface (DCMI), Redfish interfaces, Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS), and
SNMP.
Fault detection and alarm management
The iBMC implements fault detection and alarm management, ensuring stable,
uninterrupted 24/7 system operation.
Virtual KVM and virtual media
The iBMC provides virtual KVM and virtual media, facilitating remote maintenance.
Web-based user interface (WebUI)
The iBMC provides a web-based UI for setting and querying device information.
System breakdown screenshots and video playback
The iBMC allows screenshots and videos to be created when the system breaks down.
The screenshots and videos help to identify the cause of system breakdown.
Screen snapshots and videos
The iBMC offers screen snapshots and videos, which simplify routine preventive
maintenance, recording, and auditing.
