Service Program Mode

Enabling and Disabling Service Program Mode

• The Service Program Mode is for use by service representatives only. If this mode is used by
anyone other than service representatives for any reason, data might be deleted or settings might
be changed. In such case, product quality cannot be guaranteed any more.
Entering SP Mode
For details, ask your supervisor.

Service Table Key

The following symbols are used in the SP mode tables.
Notation
[range / default / step]
ENG
CTL
*
DFU
SSP
What it means
Example: [-9 to +9 / 0 / 0.1 mm/step]. The setting can be
adjusted in the range ±9, value reset to +3.0 after an NVRAM
reset, and the value can be changed in 0.1 mm steps with each
key press.
Engine SP
Controller SP
An asterisk (*) to the left side of ENG/CTL column means that
this mode is stored in the NVRAM. If you do a RAM clear, this SP
mode will be reset to the default value. "ENG" and "CTL" show
which NVRAM contains the data.
• *ENG: NVRAM on the BCU board
• *CTL: NVRAM on the controller board
Denotes "Design or Factory Use". Do not change this value.
This denotes a "Special Service Program" mode.
