6. Troubleshooting
The following diagram shows the possible symptoms (black or white dots at regular intervals or other
problems).

The LED head contains 37 LED chips, each covering a line 8 mm wide. If a line 8 mm wide extending in
the paper feed direction appears, an LED chip may be damaged. If so, replace the LED head.
