10. Turn the main power off and on. Then, select the items that you updated, and then push
the [Verify] button.
This is to check that the modules were updated correctly. Press in the SD card to release it. Then
remove it from the slot.
11. If you see "Verify Error" in the first bar on the screen, then you must do the procedure
again for the module shown in the bottom bar.
• The "Verify" procedure is not necessary but it is strongly recommended.
12. After the firmware is correctly updated, turn the main power switch off, and then switch
the machine on for normal operation.

Firmware Update Error

If firmware update fails, an error code appears.
An error message shows in the first line if an error occurs during the download.
The error code consists of the letter "E" and a number (for example, "E36", "E50"). For details, refer to
the Error Message Table. (page 157 in this section)

Recovery after Power Loss

If the ROM update is interrupted as a result of accidental loss of power while the firmware is updating,
then the correct operation of the machine cannot be guaranteed after the machine is switched on again.
If the ROM update does not complete successfully for any reason, then in order to ensure the correct
operation of the machine, the ROM update error will continue to show until the ROM is updated
successfully.
In this case, insert the card again and switch on the machine to continue the firmware download
automatically from the card without the menu display.
