(1) Remove retaining ring . 4) Removal of valve sleeve
(1) Remove retaining ring.

(2) Using REMOVER, press pinion end carefully and
remove ball bearing and spacer as a unit .
Be careful not to drop valve ASSY .

(2) Remove spacer and take off the sleeve smoothly .
a. Scratching input shaft can cause oil to leak
b . Do not deform spacer as it is reusable .
c. To facilitate reassembly, mark the point in valve
sleeve groove meshed with pinion pin.
