5. Troubleshooting Chart with Trouble Code
A: TROUBLE CODE (0) - Improper power line voltage or faulty harness
CONTENTS OF DIAGNOSIS :
Faulty ABS control unit
Faulty harness
Faulty alternator
1 ( Check power supply (voltage) to ABS control
unit .
Not OK
TROUBLE SYMPTOM :
" Warning light comes on but ABS control unit LED
does not .
Normal ABS function resumes although ignition
switch remains ON .
Repair harness/connector .
OK
2 I Check input voltage of ABS control unit to alter-
nator.
Not OK
Repair harness/connector or alternator .
OK
3 1 Check ABS control unit ground line (body metal) .
OK
Repair ABS C/U terminal poor contact. (Replace ABS
C/U .)
Repair ground harness.
