Communicating with the Instrument

Use the NI-MAX (Measurement & Automation Explorer) application software from National
Instruments or a customized program to communicate with the instrument. When using NI
VISA, open the VISA Session Resource Name in the format of TCPIP0::<IP
address>::2101::SOCKET, i.e., : TCPIP0::10.1.7.100:: 2101::SOCKET.
If a customized program is used, specify the TCP/IP SOCKET PORT to 2101.
