Calibration Procedure
1.
Go to the CALIBRATION page as shown in Figure 3-136.

In the CALIBRATION page, press "

" to display the current calibration options as shown in Figure 3-142.

Verify all loads have been removed from the output terminal and press "

" to do the first low current range point calibration. The system will output a
fixed voltage and then set the Electronic Load to draw 1.0A current. The cursor will stop
at position [1] as shown in Figure 3-143. Enter the current read by the ULTRASTAB
SATURN (DVM) to position [1] and press "

Turn off the Electronic Load and reconnect the DC Power Supply to a current shunt
whose rating is closest to but still covers 20A. For the Prodigit 7550, use the 20A shunt
directly.

Press "
" to perform the 6.7A calibration. The cursor will stop at position [2] as
shown in Figure 3-144. Set the Electronic Load to draw 6.700A current. Enter the current
read by the ULTRASTAB SATURN (DVM) and press "
calibration values obtained, the system will calculate the calibration factor for the low
current range.
