Information
Tolerance range (+/-) for original torque seating position, within which a torque fault
will be signalled after unsuccessful automatic deblocking.
Required user level: Specialist (4) or higher.
Customer settings M0041
Automatic deblocking M1680
Tolerance range M1683
Default value: 10 %
Setting ranges: 5 ... 30 % (percentage of operating time into opposite direction)
Synchronous link means synchronous electrical operation of two actuators (master
actuator/slave actuator) without mechanical link. The synchronous link function can
be used to operate two gate valves within a weir, for example.
Two MOVs – one main valve and a secondary valve – are linked via four signals.
End position OPEN/CLOSED, selector switch Remote, deviation too high and failure
as well as possible speed correction for synchronous operation are signalled or
controlled via the main valve.
Figure 47: Function
Configuration of digital inputs of the main valve
Required user level: Specialist (4) or higher.
Device configuration M0053
I/O interface M0139
Digital inputs M0116
Input DIN5 for Syn. link End pos. In signal = secondary valve has reached end
position CLOSED.
Input DIN6 for Syn. link Remote In signal = selector switch of secondary valve is in
position REMOTE.
Input DIN7 for Sync. link Ready In signal = secondary valve signals Ready state.
The logic for the digital inputs may be inverted. Depending on the parameter setting
(e.g. Coding DIN 6 M0128), the input is either High active or Low active. Default
setting is High active.
