Operation of the SIU-RM101 Remote Control Unit (Option)
When multiple SIU-RM101s are connected in cascade,
connect this REMOTE OUT connector to the
REMOTE IN connector of the previous SIU-RM101.
3 REMOTE IN (remote signal input) connector
(D-SUB 9-pin)
When making a cascade connection using multiple
SIU-RM101s, connect this connector to the REMOTE
OUT connector of the next SIU-RM101.
4 DC IN (DC power input) connector
Connect to the supplied AC power adapter to input 12
DC power.
Notes
• Be sure to use the AC power adaptor supplied with the
SIU-RM101. If you use an AC powe adaptor other than the
one supplied, this may cause a malfunction.
• Do not use the supplied AC adaptor with the device other
than the SIU-RM101. This may cause a malfunction of that
device.

Turning On the Power

Press the ` side on the ON/STANDBY switch.
Until the connection between the unit and SIU-100/
100T is established, LEDs of the SLOT buttons light in
green one by one
ON/STANDBY switch
After the connection is established, the SIU-RM101
starts with the ON/OFF setting of the LOCK button
and the slot number selected when the power was set
to standby last.

Select the slot to be remotely controlled by pushing
the corresponding SLOT button.
The LED of the SLOT button into which the
DMBK-S101 is inserted lights in green.
When you select a SLOT button corresponding to
the slot in which the DMBK-S101 is inserted, the
LED color changes from green to amber.
The channel numbers and setting status of each
channel are displayed in the channel operation
section.
The LEDs of the SLOT buttons into which boards
other than the DMBK-S101 is inserted are not lit.
If you select the slot into which the DMBK-S101
is not inserted, "_ _ _ " is displayed on the channel
number display window.
For detailed information on the channel number, see
"Channel number display" on page 145.

Perform various settings.
+48 V power supply ON/OFF setting
To supply the +48 V power, press the +48 V
button so that the button indicator lights.
To not supply the +48 V power, press the +48 V
button so that the button indicator goes off.
PAD ON/OFF setting
To insert an attenuation of 30 dB into the input
circuit of the head amplifier, press the PAD button
so that the button indicator lights.
To not insert the attenuation, press the PAD button
so that the button indicator goes off.
