Menu Operations
Confirming the lock status of the digital
input signal

Enter the DI LOCK STATUS submenu by
displaying it on the LCD.
The slot number and the type of board inserted in
that slot number are displayed in the upper row.

Display the slot number to be confirmed using the
+/– button or ten key pad.
In the lower row, the status of the 8 channels of the
specified slot number are displayed in order, from
1 to 8, starting from the left.
L: Abbreviation of LOCK. Indicates that a
correctly synchronized signal is being received.
U: Abbreviation of UNLOCK. Indicates that the
signal cannot be synchronized or a signal is not
currently being input.
S: Abbreviation of SLIP. Indicates that the signal
is being input, but it is not synchronized with the
sampling frequency of the SIU-100/100T.
—: Indicates that the board is not suitable for
digital input.
Note
With a DMBK-R109 MADI board, the status of
the entire board is displayed instead of that of the
channels, and the status is displayed with spelled.

Enter the DI CH STATUS submenu by
displaying it on the LCD.

Select the channel to be confirmed.
Move the cursor to the area to be selected by
using the B and/or b button(s). Select the slot
number and then the channel number using the +/
– buttons.

Select the status item to be confirmed by using
the V and v buttons.
For detailed information on the contents of the various
status items, see the following "Status display for the
digital input".
For a board which is not suitable for the digital
input, "_ _ _ " is displayed.

Contents
1) DI PLL
Displays the lock
status of the PLL of
each input.
2) DATA
Displays the
synchronization
status between the
input signal and the
SIU-100/100T.
Type of board
Remarks
LOCK: Locked
correctly.
UNLOCK:
Unlocked. In this
case, "_ _ _ _" is
displayed for
subsequent display
items.
NORMAL:
Synchronized
correctly.
SLIP:
Synchronization
has slipped. A gap
of data or
interpolation that
causes noise or
distortion has
occurred. Check the
settings.
