Confirming the channel routing
The CHECK button allows you to display the
connection status of a specified channel by indicating
either an input or output channel. You can clear or
change the routing displayed using the CHECK button.
1
Display the input and output channels using the
INPUT, OUTPUT, V, v, B, b buttons, ten key pad
and the +/– buttons.
In this case, the channel over which the cursor is
placed becomes the specified channel. The other
input or output channel display is ignored.
2
Push the CHECK button.
The destination channel of the specified channel is
automatically detected and displayed.
When there are no channels connected to
the specified channel
"- -" is displayed on the slot number and channel
number.
When the input channel is specified
Multiple output channels can be assigned to one
input channel.
The number of each of the output channels
connected to the input channel is displayed at the
right corner of the upper row. This number is
automatically assigned to each output channel in
turn, in ascending order, from the lowest channel
of the lowest numbered slot.
[-001] indicates the lowest numbered output channel
among output channels assigned to the input channel. The
following diagram shows the SL1-CH02 is the second
lowest numbered output channel
When one input channel is routed to multiple
output channels;
Every time you push the CHECK button, the
number at the right corner advances one by one.
You can confirm all of output channels connected
to that input channel.
3
To continue checking, press B or b button while
pushing the CHECK button down.
You can confirm routings other than the one
specified in step 2 in sequence.
Whenever you press the B or b button, the channel
is changed to the previous one or the next one from
the channel where the cursor is placed and the
destination channel is automatically detected and
displayed.
This function is convenient for confirming multiple
output channels connected to one input channel.
Whenever you press the b button, the output
channels are displayed in sequence from lowest to
highest.
Setting the routing in units of slots (8
channels)
You can set the routing in units of one slot, 8 channels.
In one operation, you can assign the routings from
input channels 1 to 8 to output channels 1 to 8
respectively.
Note
For the DMBK-R109 MADI board, 56 channels are
divided into 7 groups, treating channels 1 to 8 as one
group.
Design for the slot setting mode
1 Slot number and channel number
2 Connection confirmation mark
1 Slot number and channel number
The slot number and channel number of the input side
are displayed in the upper row. Those of the output
side are displayed on the lower row. The cursor moves
only over the slot numbers. Even though the channel
number is displayed, the cursor cannot move over the
channel number.
2 Connection confirmation mark
Indicates whether or not the currently selected
(displayed) slots of the input side and output side are
connected. When changing the slot number, the
connection confirmation mark changes depending on
the connection status.
