Note on DC power source
Do not use a DC power source with an electric current of less than 5A. Battery
voltage of the output will be decreased temporarily when the recorder loads a tape or
starts playback which may cause malfunction.
Pin assignment of the XLR-4 type connector
Be sure to operate the recorder on a power source with
an operating voltage ranging from 12 to 15V. Avoid
operating it at voltage higher than approx. 16V (OVER
indicator appears), as this may cause malfunction of the
recorder.
To monitor the power voltage supplied with the external
power source, press the BATT CHECK key.
