2 LCD (Liquid Crystal Display)
Displays sync settings of the unit, such as sampling
frequency, sync signal selected, and so on, to be used
during normal operation.
For detailed information on information displayed during
normal operation, see "LCD - Normal operating display"
on page 92.
When you are performing menu operations, it displays
the contents of the menu being performed.
For detailed information on menu operations, see "Menu
Operations" on page 102.
3 INPUT monitor display
Displays the level of the input signals of the board
inserted in the SIU-100/100T.
1 STATUS indicators

1 STATUS indicators
Light when the INPUT monitor display is set to
STATUS mode.
One LED changes in 3 steps according to the signal
level of the corresponding channel.
Not lit: Indicates that a signal is not being input (the
signal level is lower than the preset level).
Lit in green: Indicates that the level of the input signal
exceeds the preset level.
Lit in red: Indicates that the level of the input signal
reaches or exceeds the clip level.
3 Meter indicators
2 SLOT number displays
Indicate whether an option board is inserted or not.
A SLOT number where a board has been inserted is lit
in green.
A SLOT number where a board has not been inserted
does not light.
3 Meter indicators
Light when the INPUT monitor display is set in
METER mode.
The INPUT indicators activate as the level meters of 8
the channels of a slot that has been selected. The
vertical row indicates the level of one channel. The
meter is displayed in two different colors, green and
red according to the threshold level set.
The STATUS and METER mode
The indicators of the INPUT monitor display section
are displayed in either STATUS or METER mode. The
LED DISPLAY submenu of the SETUP menu allows
you to select the display mode and to set the threshold
level at which the indicators light.

Notes
• The level indication function is effective only for
slots where input boards have been inserted.
• For the DMBK-R102 8CH Analog Line Out board,
which has only output functions, the level indication
function is not activated.
• For a slot where a DMBK-R109 MADI board is
inserted, the level indication is not activated because
the number of channels is more than the unit can
handle.
4 VOLUME (headphones volume) control
Adjusts the volume of the headphones connected to the
PHONES connector.
5 PHONES connector
Connect headphones to monitor audio signals.
